We leave in the morning for Canada, hopefully, with everything we need. I committed the ultimate fauxpas in that I completely forgot that yesterday was Mother's (Madam's) birthday. I have always been used to celebrating after we got to the Cottage and just let it slip. I guess the Old man is getting old !

I am a retired Episcopal Priest having been at first a Parish Priest with the intention to always be in parish life. But, in the middle of things I resigned my parish and went back to school, garnered two degrees in Geography, and ended up teaching Geography and Earth Sciences in Universities, Until retirement I could only exercise my Priesthood as a Sunday supply. Since Retirement up to two years ago I have been able to be an Interim in several parishes without rectors. I have thoroughly enjoyed that.
